Description

For the improvement of dullness, lethargy and improvement in overall demeanour in older dogs.

Active Ingredient

Each tablet contains a measured dose of Propentofylline.

Contra-Indications

Contra-Indicated in pregnant or lactating bitches, as the compound has not yet been evaluated for these animals.

Directions

6-10mg propentofylline/kg bodyweight daily, divided into two doses given am and pm as follows:

Bodyweight Tablets

• 5-8kg ½ a tablet daily (split into 2 × ¼ tablet)
• 9-15kg 1 tablet daily (split into 2 × ½ tablet)
• 16-25kg 1½ tablets daily (split into 2 × ¾ tablet)
• 26-33kg 2 tablets daily (split into 2 × 1 tablet)
• 34-50kg 3 tablets daily (split into 2 × 1½ tablets)
• 51-65kg 4 tablets daily (split into 2 × 2 tablets)

The tablet(s) can be administrated directly onto the back of the tongue or can be mixed with a small ball of food. Administer the tablet(s) on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before feeding. Continue treatment as required.
